Dance Parade 2009

Checked out the Dance Parade for the first time. This is the third annual parade. I skipped the parade procession but caught the performances on the main stage in Tompkins Square Park. I was hoping to see the step and hip hop crews perform but I guess the list I saw was for the floats only. It was interesting. I think I'll try to catch the parade next time and skip the main stage. I did catch a drumline of an after school program. There's something about a drumline that I love. And the energy of the little drummers are so cute. I can't believe they got the kids doing moves like that though. Aren't they too young!?
