Sony Ericsson has released two new eco-conscious cell phones (currently only available in Europe). What is great is that the phones aren't intimidating or unusual. In fact, I don't think you'll be able to point them out as being eco-phones in a line up. Plus, aside from doing research, life cycle analysis, screening their supply-chain, Sony Ericsson has planned a recycling program which will also be a great way for them to spend less on acquiring materials. Such a program should have been implemented sooner by cell phone companies or any product company for that matter. Check the video to see what they were thinking in designing these phones. This is much better then the disposable phone idea.
