No Discipline

Thanks to A & M for the heads up. Gotta check out Ron Arad: No Discipline at the MoMA. From the pieces of his that I know of, I categorize his work as more artistic experimental sculpture rather then practical industrial design. I appreciate the experimentation since experimentation is needed if we are to keep moving forward in design but I tend to cringe at the use of plastic given the state of our environment. I'll definitely have to check out the installation first before commenting further though. I'm interested to see how it's displayed as well (new eyes from exhibition design class).
