As one of my professors would say, duh! Now this is thinking outside the box. There's a difference between the questions, how do we make a device better vs. how do we improve the daily interaction with information and the physical world. Or even, how do we actually use information? I don't think these questions get asked enough. Pranav Mistry tackles this and even plans to offer his software opened-source!
This just makes sense. In thinking about the hand held device... Why do we focus on making something constrained by size when the smaller it gets, while easier to carry, the more difficult it is to use? And rather then the device learning how we intuitively use data and aiding us to do so, the constraints of the current devices dictate how we can use the data and when. Hmm...
