Dancing Through the Decades

Because of school I sometimes go for a week or more without turning on the TV. I miss a lot and apparently I missed the awesome "Dancing Through the Decades" performance back in October 2008 on Dancing with the Stars.

Not only was the dancing great (my favorite of course being the 80's piece) but the set design was amazing. The dancers utilized the full stage and the entire set which was great and the play with the lights especially in the future piece was awesome! I wonder if they used scrim (something I learned of from my exhibition design class) or some other material.

I'm not so sure though why the future always seems so stiff and robotic. Will we all loose our groove and morph into cyborgs?
