Products can be life changing

Amongst all the items designers create that contribute to landfills, it's beautiful to see examples of what designers can create that are so meaningful it changes a users life.

On a Home Makeover episode today one wheelchair bound veteran was given a wheelchair that allows him to stand as well. It was so moving to see a him ask his wife to stand with him on the wheelchair and "dance" with him for the first time in 15 years. His words, "our dance card will be full."
