Boxed in with boards and clamps. Time to clay up to prevent leaks! It took crazy long.

Mixing the plaster. This is two of the four buckets needed for each section.
The two molds have 3 sections each.
Each mold = about 22 quarts of water and 60 pounds of plaster

The clay was too thin at the top of the model so it leaked (see bottom left). There's a fine line between trying for a clean mold edge and preventing leaks.

The smooth model surface ruined when trying to remove the plaster that leaked.
